Moore Square (200 S. Blount St., Raleigh, NC)
3 pm: Welcome
3:10-4 pm: Teach-in with Daryl Atkinson titled “Mass Incarceration Affects Us All”
3:10-4 pm: Music from Justin Johnson
4 pm: Welcome from Brad Thompson. And review of march route and guidelines
4:10 pm: Sidewalk march steps off [1.5 mile route through Raleigh with stops at key locations] (right-click and save for an image of the route)

Halifax Mall (16 W. Jones St., Raleigh, NC)
5:30 pm: Sidewalk march arrives at NC Legislature
5:30-6 pm: Music, food, and what May Day means to me activity

Music from: William D. Burton (his performance will begin at 5:15 pm for those who go straight to Halifax Mall and don’t do the march)
Food: Food Not Bombs will have free vegetarian food!!  (we were unable to get a permit for a food truck as planned)
Bring your own bottled water! (and your own fork, if possible to conserve!)

6-7:15 pm: Rally
7:20-7:40 pm: Worker speak-out
7:40-8 pm: Closing and lanterns

Some notes about the schedule and event:
This event goes on rain or shine, so be prepared with an umbrella or rain coat.
If you’re unable to do the march, we have Halifax Mall reserved starting at 4 pm. You can meet us there. If you arrive after the march steps off, you can try to catch us at one of the stops, or you can meet us at Halifax Mall. We are hoping to arrive by 5:30 pm.
We will have 1 handicap-accessible portable restroom just off Halifax Mall.
